Pet Parade: Pug Rescue Of New England
BOSTON (CBS) -- Three dogs up for adoption from Pug Rescue of New England were featured on the Pet Parade Sunday morning.
Daisy came in from a big-city shelter. She's about 10, and was found as a stray. She has a weak back-end, probably as a result of spending most of her life in a crate. She gets around pretty well in her stroller--believe it or not, she runs with her wheels on!
Otis, a 12-year-old pug, still has plenty of energy and is full of life. He was surrendered by his owner, who didn't have enough time to take care of him. He just had some dental work done, so he's feeling great and ready for his forever home.
M came from the same shelter as Daisy. He has an enlarged heart, which pushes on his trachea and gives him a bit of trouble with breathing, as well as a bit of arthritis--but he gets around just fine. He would do well in a home where you like to hang around on the couch.
