Kevin Harlan's Play-By-Play Of A Fan Storming The Field Is A Must-Hear

By Matt Dolloff, CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) -- When a fan runs onto the field during a football, baseball, or soccer game, it's not usually something that is glorified. Broadcasters don't want to encourage potential copycats. But don't tell that to Westwood One announcer Kevin Harlan.

The San Francisco 49ers shut out the Los Angeles Rams 28-0 in an impressive debut for head coach Chip Kelly to close out Week 1 of the NFL season, but Harlan's radio call of a fan that stormed the field in-between plays will be the most talked-about moment of the night - if you're not talking about that whole Kaepernick thing. And it should be; he called the play-by-play of the fan's escapades like the guy was a running back juking defenders down the field for the game-winning touchdown.

If this makes more people want to storm the field and get the Harlan treatment, so be it, because this is hilarious:

A fan tweeted out a video of the fan running around before eventually getting tackled by security. Deadspin posted a handy synced version with Harlan's call of the action.

Has any sports radio announcer's broadcast schedule ever been a must-see? Because aspiring streakers and lowlifes are probably itching to find out Harlan's next gig so they can get him to call their own shenanigans when they hop onto the field. The only thing that would have made this moment greater was a taser to the buttocks.
