Tom Brady Puts Forth Perfect Performance In Patriots' Intrasquad Scrimmage

BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady may not be playing in a real game until Oct. 9, but he appears to already be in midseason -- or postseason -- form.

The Patriots hit the practice field on Friday for their eighth day of training camp, and today's plans included a full intrasquad scrimmage.

And when that game, Brady was absolutely dominant. That's the main storyline from Friday at camp thus far, but here's a look at all that went down in Foxborough.

Brady's Perfect Start

In the full-team scrimmage, Brady was as good as he could possibly be, going 12-for-12 with two touchdowns.

But Brady wasn't done. He even torched the defense with the help of deep threat ... Matthew Slater?

And the dominance only continued.

Stork, Cooper Among The Missing

The Patriots have a lot of depth at offensive line, and so far, they've needed it. Bryan Stork was out again, as he deals with a reported concussion, and Jonathan Cooper (acquired in the Chandler Jones trade) was again absent after getting hurt last weekend.

Veteran running back Donald Brown, who himself figures to be in a pretty heated roster battle, was also absent from Friday's session.

Chris Hogan Shines

With Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola still sidelined, the opportunity's been there for Chris Hogan to step up. And he seemed to do just that on Friday.

Gronk's Quarterback Dreams Dashed

Rob Gronkowski threw a pass. He probably won't ever throw one again.

And that wasn't the only tomfoolery going down in Foxborough.
