Summer Of Savings: Beach Events
BOSTON (CBS) – For many, summer is synonymous with beach time.
But it doesn't have to be just sun, sand and surf.
In this week's edition of WBZ-TV's "Summer of Savings" we show how you can get the excitement of the 4th of July all summer long.
Each Wednesday Hampton Beach holds a fireworks show.
Grab a blanket and head to the sand between B and C Streets to check out the show over the Atlantic.
SUMMER ARTS AND CRAFTS
And a show of a different kind will take place this weekend on Cape Cod.
Hyannis will hold its 5th annual Summer Arts and Crafts Festival.
Over 100 craftsmen will be on display on the Village Green, located on Main Street.
Admission is free and there will be live music on the bandstand.
CLASSIC CARS AND DOO WOP
Friday night there will be a trip back in time at Salisbury Beach.
Dozens of vintage cars will line the beach as part of the town's Friday Classic Cars and Doo Wop.
And on Saturday nights throughout the summer Salisbury Beach holds a concert and fireworks for no charge.
