Bills' Marcell Dareus Hates That Tom Brady Is Out Week 4, Says The Opposite Of His Own Team
By Matt Dolloff, CBS Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Buffalo Bills may be continuing their lame trend of celebrating Tom Brady's suspension, since it might kind of give them a slightly marginally better chance of winning, I guess. But one of their best players isn't so happy about it and it's refreshing to hear.
Former All-Pro defensive tackle Marcell Dareus joined NFL Total Access and, as expected, the topic of likely facing the Patriots sans Brady at Gillette Stadium in Week 4 came up. For once, a non-Patriots player said the right thing.
"If we win [against the Patriots], alright, we win," said Dareus. "But I don't feel like I really won until I beat the guy. I love playing against Brady. I get up for him. I play against him every year and he knows I'm coming. So for him not to be there tears me up a little bit."

Contrast Dareus' remarks with that of his own team, which tweeted this out soon after the news of Brady's denied request for a rehearing broke:
Cool.
Even Dareus has nothing to gloat about when it comes to his own performance against the Patriots; he has 14 tackles and just 1.5 sacks in nine games against the Patriots in his career. The Bills are 1-8 in those games.
At least Dareus is saying the right thing here and not slathering himself in weak-sauce, like many of those outside of New England tend to do when it comes to talking about Brady or the Patriots.
