Bruins Legend Ray Bourque Charged With OUI After Crash
ANDOVER (CBS) -- Former Boston Bruins legend Ray Bourque was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol late Friday night following a crash in Andover.
Andover Police were called to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Lowell Street and Route 133 around 11:30 p.m.
Police say a Mercedes-Benz GL450, driven by Bourque, rear-ended a Toyota Sienna minivan in a construction zone.
No one was hurt in the crash.
Bourque, 55, of Boxboro, was taken into custody. He is also facing a charge of following too closely.
He was released on bail, and Bourque will be arraigned in Lawrence District Court.
