Coast Guard Searching For Person Missing In Water Off Eastham

EASTHAM (CBS) - The Coast Guard is leading a search for a missing person off the coast of Cape Cod.

Eastham police and fire called the agency looking for help around 8:30 a.m. Friday because there was a person believed to missing in the water in the Wellfleet Harbor area.

The Coast Guard sent a 29-foot rescue vessel and two aircraft to assist with search.

So far, nothing has been found.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
