Hanley Ramirez Breaks Drought With Towering Home Run Over Green Monster [VIDEO]

BOSTON (CBS) -- After going over a month without hitting a home run, Hanley Ramirez finally found his power stroke on Wednesday night - and did so with authority.

Ramirez clocked an inside slider that didn't slide from the Baltimore Orioles' Kevin Gausman, sending the ball soaring over the Green Monster seats and onto Lansdowne St., putting the Red Sox up 6-0 and the game out of reach for Baltimore. It was Ramirez's first home run in 110 at-bats dating back to May 10.

Watch below for the home run, followed by Ramirez flexing his muscle for the cameras:

Just moments before the home run, Ramirez endeared himself to some fans taking selfies while standing in the on-deck circle.

Ramirez is 4-for-9 in the past three games after going 4-for-34 in nine games to start the month of June. The Red Sox first baseman sounded supremely confident after the game that he is breaking out of his month-long slump.

"Get ready. Get your ticket - first class," said Ramirez. "It's about to get hot."
