Driver In Crash With Whitman Wheelchair Van Succumbs To Injuries

WHITMAN (CBS) -- The driver of the car involved in a crash with a wheelchair transport van last week has succumbed to her injuries.

Chelsea Golden, 57, of Duxbury, died at South Shore Hospital Sunday from injuries after the car she was driving crossed Route 14 in Whitman and drove head-on into a wheelchair transport van last Thursday.

The passenger of the car, Francine Laterza, 61, died hours after the crash.

All three people in the wheelchair van suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
