2 Charged With Stealing Military Passports In Tyngsboro Home Break-In
TYNGSBORO (CBS) – Police have arrested two people for allegedly breaking into a Tyngsboro home and stealing a backpack containing a man's military passports.
Early Saturday afternoon, officers were called to Lakewood Avenue where they found people chasing after the suspects. A perimeter was set up and the suspects were apprehended by police.
Tamara Reed, 29, and 31-year-old Joseph Anderson, both of Tyngsboro, have each been charged with receiving stolen property.
A Blossom Street resident told police that someone stole a North Face backpack containing clothes, grooming items, and passports belonging to the serviceman who lives there.
Just before 5 p.m. on Friday officers found an upstairs bedroom had been entered and a locked file cabinet was damaged. Other than the backpack, nothing else had been reported missing.
All of the stolen items have been recovered, police say.
