Summer Of Savings: Cape Cod, Minor League Baseball Deals

BOSTON (CBS) - The countdown is on for the last day of school. But while your kids might be anxiously awaiting summer, it could cause anxiety for some moms and dads!

A new survey from Groupon shows 57-percent of parents have nothing planned yet for their families this summer.

And yet nearly every parent questioned said they want to do something fun and exciting with their children in the next few months.

That's where we come in. All summer long, WBZ-TV will bring you to the best of Boston and beyond, without breaking the bank.

This week, it's a trip to the ballpark, without paying big bucks.

The best deal is the Cape Cod Baseball League – which is free!

The historic league started in 1885 and it features some of the best college players in the country. Many go on to careers in the Major Leagues.

There are plenty of chances to catch some of the action with 44 regular season games scheduled.

Opening night is tonight, June 10. Check the full season schedule here.

There are also plenty of minor league ballparks to check out this summer.
