1 Dead, 4 Injured After Crash In Whitman

WHITMAN (CBS) – A woman was killed and four others were injured when a car and wheelchair transport van crashed in Whitman Thursday afternoon.

The Plymouth County DA says a Nissan sedan crashed into the van on Route 14 at about 3:50 p.m.

The passenger in the Nissan was taken to Brockton Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the car was taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries.

Two men and a woman were in the van and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

The crash is under investigation.
