BOSTON (CBS) - Cambridge joined a growing number of cities yesterday, voting to abolish Columbus Day and instead celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day in October. Marc McGovern, Vice Mayor of Cambridge, talks with Dan about why the change was made and what the reaction has been like. Do you agree that we should get rid of the holiday, knowing the terrible things that Christopher Columbus did during his lifetime? Or is it important to celebrate our history, no matter what?
