Suspect Wanted In Uxbridge McDonald's Attempted Robbery

UXBRIDGE (CBS) -- Police are looking for a young man they say attempted to rob a McDonald's in Uxbridge Sunday night.

Police say the man entered the McDonald's on Monahan Drive shortly before 11p.m. and showed the clerk a silver semi automatic handgun to the clerk before demanding money.

A customer at the drive thru saw the incident and called police. A short time later a resident near McDonald's reported a young male knocked on his door requesting directions. This male left on foot and headed southbound.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his late teens or early 20s, with a thin build, blonde hair, and a small amount of facial hair on his chin.

Surveillance images captured the suspect in the McDonald's wearing sunglasses, a red baseball hat with the "Ferrari" logo on it, a dark sweatshirt with writing on the front and blue jeans. He also had a drawstring type backpack, black and red with a white logo.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Uxbridge Police Department.
