Crews Battle 3-Alarm Fire In Somerville

SOMERVILLE (CBS) - One person was injured and several apartments were damaged in a three-alarm fire in Somerville Thursday night.

Fire officials say the blaze tore through three apartment buildings on Rush Street.

Residents of nine apartments were forced to evacuate.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Fire officials say at least one stairwell collapsed.

The fire was knocked down late Thursday night, but crews remained on the scene battling hot spots.

It is unclear how the fire started.
