9-Year-Old Injured When Go-Kart Hits Pickup Truck

STOUGHTON (CBS) -- A nine-year-old boy was injured Thursday afternoon when the go-kart he was driving hit a pickup truck passing his home, Stoughton Police said.

According to police, the boy was driving the go-kart out of his driveway on Pratts Court and into the street, when he hit the rear driver-side wheel of a pickup truck that was going by.

He was taken to an area hospital with a broken foot.

Police said the driver of the truck, which was going well below the speed limit, stopped, and that no charges would be filed.
