Keller @ Large: Trump, Clinton Look For Wins In New York Primary

BOSTON (CBS) -- Hey, you'd dance too if you held a comfy double-digit lead that shows no sign of eroding.

Bernie Sanders excited his fans with an aggressive debate performance. But how many in the crowd can actually vote for him? New York is a Democrats-only primary, and that leaves Sanders grasping at straws.

Trump wasn't dancing, but with a huge polling lead, his closing campaign stops felt like a victory lap. The only suspense: can Ted Cruz and John Kasich keep him under 50 percent, the magic number for a big delegate haul?

But for Trump and Clinton, home cooking has proven to be welcome comfort food.

The question is, will it carry over into next week's Atlantic coast primaries from Rhode Island to Maryland, then onto the Midwest and south through mid-May? Or will the twin toasts of New York, New York be singing those little town blues?
