Elderly Driver Dies From Injuries In School Bus Crash In Sudbury

SUDBURY (CBS) – The elderly driver of a Cadillac that collided head-on with a school bus in Sudbury has died, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.

Patricia Metz, 73, of Sudbury, was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after the crash on Concord Road Wednesday afternoon.

The school bus was carrying 25 students from the Algonquin Regional High School girls' rugby team. Nine students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

There's no word yet on the cause of the crash.
