Patriots Preseason Schedule Announced: Saints, Bears Visiting Gillette Stadium In August
BOSTON (CBS) -- In the annual reminder that football is always just around the corner, the NFL announced preseason schedules across the league on Thursday afternoon.
That included, of course, the Patriots, who will host the Saints and Bears this coming August.
The Patriots' preseason road trips will be to Carolina to face the Panthers and to New York to face the Giants.
All four games will air on WBZ-TV.
The exact dates of the games have not been announced, but the schedule is as follows:
Week 1: vs. New Orleans Saints
Week 2: vs. Chicago Bears
Week 3: at Carolina Panthers
Week 4: at New York Giants
This summer's slate includes three of the same opponents from last year, as the Patriots traveled to New Orleans and Carolina last sumer while alos hosting the Giants.
The Patriots played the Giants in the preseason from 2001-03, and every year in the final game of the preseason from 2005-15.
