NH High-Speed Chase Ends With Car Stuck In Mud, 2 Arrests
HOPKINTON, N.H. (AP) — Police say a high-speed chase in New Hampshire came to an end when a car got stuck in the mud, forcing the driver and passenger to flee.
Police say the car was having lane control issues at about 4 a.m. Monday on northbound Interstate 89 in Concord. A trooper tried to stop it, but it kept going until it exited in Hopkinton. The vehicle left the road, drove across a field and onto a lawn, getting stuck.
Police caught up with the passenger, 21-year-old Joshua Mitchell of Concord, charged with resisting arrest, and the driver, 23-year-old Corey Miller of Concord, charged with being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and other charges.
It wasn't immediately known if they had lawyers and phone numbers couldn't be found for them.
