Who Will Be Harvard's Commencement Speaker? Video Leaves Clues

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – Harvard University students are a smart bunch, but can they figure out who this year's commencement speaker is?

The school put out a video Thursday promoting this spring's commencement speaker, but didn't actually reveal who the guest of honor would be.

Instead, the video gives a number of clues, showing scenes on campus that seem to reference classic movies like "Jurassic Park," "Indiana Jones," "E.T." and "Jaws."

Those hints bring one very famous name to mind – Steven Spielberg. He directed all the blockbuster movies referenced in the video, and that has many on social media confident that he'll address graduating seniors in May.

Several hours after the video was released, Harvard confirmed that Spielberg will indeed be the speaker.

Last year, former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick spoke at commencement.
