Patriots Reportedly Showing Interest In Denver Running Back C.J. Anderson

BOSTON (CBS) – Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson gushed about the respect he has for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady following this year's AFC Championship Game.

According to one report, it's now at least possible that Brady could be Anderson's new quarterback.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports the Patriots are one of several teams to express interest in Anderson, a restricted free agent.

Florio lists the Patriots, Dolphins, 49ers and Bears as teams who have expressed interest in Anderson.

If the Patriots, or any other team, signs Anderson to an offer sheet, Denver would have to decide within five days to match the offer. If Denver does not match, Anderson would be on the move.

After Denver beat New England in the AFC Championship game, Anderson took to Instagram to say how much Brady has inspired him.
