NightSide - Should We Ask Candidates About Religion?

BOSTON (CBS) - One of the fundamental principles of our country is the separation of church and state. This often plays out when there are clashes over religion in school or displays in public areas or buildings. Though politicians will often discuss their religion if it's politically advantageous, they are never really asked hard questions about what they believe and how it will affect their decisions. Stephen Mansfield, author of Ask The Question, joins NightSide to talk about why he believes every candidate should be asked specifically about their faith. Do you agree?
