'I Love You Trump!' Maine Girl Cries When Told She'll See The Donald In Person
FARMINGTON, N.H. (CBS) – Donald Trump has attracted some passionate fans in his unprecedented run for president – but one little girl from Maine may be his biggest supporter yet.
A video posted Saturday shows a 9-year-old named Ava Lovley getting the news from her mother that they'll be going to see a Trump rally in New Hampshire on Monday.
"You get to see him in person – not just on TV," her mother says.
"Are you serious?" Ava asks. "Oh my word!"
The surprise brings Ava to tears.
"Thank you mom!" Ava says. "I love you Trump!"
Ava's mother Kim Lovley spoke to The Washington Post on Tuesday.
"We're Republicans, but we're not political people at all," Kim Lovley told the newspaper. "She said she loved his hair and that he speaks his mind."
Trump held a rally at a high school in Farmington, N.H. on Monday.
Her parents wrote on Facebook that Ava had "the best time," and got Trump to sign her hand.
