Western Mass. Police Issue Warning For Lethal Batch Of 'Hollywood' Heroin

CHICOPEE (CBS) – Police in Western Massachusetts are warning residents about a batch of heroin that has led to multiple deaths in a matter of days.

Holyoke Police initially issued a warning about heroin that comes in baggies labeled "HOLLYWOOD."

Chicopee Police added in a Facebook post that they have also had issues in recent days with the drug.

Seven overdoses, three on New Year's Day alone, led to three deaths since December 30, Chicopee Police said.

Baggies labeled "HOLLYWOOD" were found at multiple locations where overdoses took place.

"Please, if you know someone using, or are using, DO NOT use this," Chicopee Police said.
