Flames Destroy NH Family's Home Days Before Christmas

MILTON, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire fire department is accepting donations for a family that lost all of its belongings in a house fire just days before Christmas.

The home on Pine Street in Milton was destroyed by flames Tuesday night.

A family of four lived at the home, including twin children who are in kindergarten. Fortunately, the family was not home at the time and neighbors were able to save their two dogs.

As the family sifted through the debris on Wednesday, the couple found their wedding bands.
