Flavoring Chemical Found In E-Cigarettes Linked To Lung Disease
BOSTON (CBS) -- A majority of e-cigarette flavors contain a chemical linked to lung disease, according to a study by Harvard researchers.
The study published Tuesday found that the chemical diacetyl, which has previously been linked to severe respiratory, was found in more than 75 percent of e-cigarettes.
The study also found two other potentially harmful compounds in many of the flavors.
Researchers say this show that there is more to be learned about the dangers of e-cigarettes.
