Tom Brady Calls Out 'Rex Ryan' At Line Of Scrimmage

BOSTON (CBS) -- You've heard Peyton Manning yell "Omaha" at the line of scrimmage hundreds of times, but Tom Brady took things to a new level Monday night.

During the first quarter of New England's 20-13 win over the Bills, Brady was heard yelling "Rex Ryan" at the line.

"He likes me, I know that," a flattered Ryan said after the game.

It looks like Brady audibled for a run play to the right side, though running back LeGarrette Blount was stuffed at the line. Maybe the Buffalo D cracked the code when they heard their head coach's name come out of Brady's mouth.

Brady said there isn't much to it, and the call was simply communication on offense.

"We have a lot of things that are kind of in the playbook, so that's one of them," Brady explained after the win. "We've used a lot of things in the past. We have a lot of unusual terms. I think we run the gamut. So we've got to get creative and think of different things, so that one is pretty unique."

The Bills' Twitter account also enjoyed the audible.

Now Rex has Brady's audible in his back pocket the next time the New England media asks about his obsession with the Patriots.
