New England Aquarium's Myrtle The Turtle Enjoys Favorite Thanksgiving Side

BOSTON (CBS) -- It's a common Thanksgiving side that gets a bad rap with humans. But for Myrtle the Turtle, it's the heart of her Thanksgiving feast.

The popular 560-pound green sea turtle enjoyed Brussels sprouts, one of her favorite foods.

For Myrtle, Brussels sprouts on stalks is "like candy on a stick," according to the New England Aquarium, where she is housed.

No turkey for Myrtle. It seems she also much prefers squid as part of her pre-Thanksgiving meal.
