Police Investigate Threat Against Pembroke Middle School Students

PEMBROKE (CBS) – Police are investigating a threat against students at the Pembroke Community Middle School.

Officers say they received a report Saturday that a 12-year-old made "threatening statements" towards other students and the student body at the school.

Police looked into it and said there is no ongoing threat.

The school has not taken any disciplinary action at this point, but the student is not currently in school.

School officials said they're working closely with police and the families involved.
