Former Boston Police Dispatcher Accused Of Murdering Uncle
HYDE PARK (CBS) – Boston Police remained on guard outside a Hyde Park home on Wood Ave. Saturday night. It was the scene of a fatal shooting earlier in the day.
The suspect, 36-year-old Yvonne Lewis, is accused of shooting her own uncle in the head, then fleeing the scene. She was arrested hours later at a home in Peabody.
They found the man in his 40's seriously wounded. He was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name has not been made public yet.
The motive remains a mystery. Lewis is due in court on Monday.
