New Information About Marshfield Murder Revealed

MARSHFIELD (CBS) - New details surfaced in the case of the Marshield man brutally murdered as two additional suspects appear in court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say attorney Michael Moscaritolo helped rob and kill 45-year-old Robert McKenna, who's blood-soaked body was found inside his secluded home on September 17.

Prosecutor Nate Kennedy said on Tuesday that Moscaritolo appeared to confess involvement in a conversation with a witness after the murder.

"The defendant Michael Moscaritollo stated, 'It's not what you think it was an accident he did it to himself by falling through the picture window.' The defendant then made a slicing motion with his hand and pointed to his left arm indicating to the witness where the injury had been sustained," Kennedy told the court.

Police also say Moscaritolo's girlfriend Lauren Kalil concealed evidence. She was held on $5,000 cash bail.

Moscaritolo was held without bail.

Investigators are looking for another person who they believe was also in the house the night McKenna was killed.
