This Fan Should Just Give Up Trying To Catch Foul Balls Forever
BOSTON (CBS) -- This guy blew not one, not two, but THREE chances to realize the dream of baseball fans everywhere. And failed.
Just about anyone who goes to a ballgame would love to catch a foul ball. Hell, many would love to simply have an opportunity to fight for one.
The Yankee fan (we presume) in the below video had some of the best, most expensive seats in Yankee Stadium and simply could not catch a break. First there was a foul ball that dropped right through his hands - understandable, not everyone can make that play. But then a foul ball bounced through his hands and right off his chest. And for the coup de grace, a sympathetic ball boy throws him a souvenir and he couldn't even catch that!
At least he finally got to keep the last one, and he doesn't seem too bothered by the whole thing. Pretty sure most fans would hide their faces in shame. Lesson here, if you look like Egon from Ghostbusters you probably won't succeed trying anything at a sporting event that requires any degree of athleticism or coordination.
Hey, at least he didn't wear a glove!
