Tagged Orleans Shark Named After Tom Brady

ORLEANS (CBS) – Tom Brady is free to play football after his suspension was overturned by a federal judge. And a great white shark named after the Patriots quarterback is freely swimming the seas off of Massachusetts.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy tagged a shark on Thursday, the same day Judge Richard Berman ruled that Brady is eligible to play in the team's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

To celebrate, the organization announced on Friday that they would name the shark tagged off the Orleans coast "Brady."

The conservancy joked that the Brady is "swimming free" and "on to Pittsburgh."
