Fundraiser Created For Wareham Tow Truck Driver Hit On I-495

MIDDLEBORO (CBS) – A fundraising page has been created for a Wareham tow truck driver who was hit and seriously injured Sunday morning in Middleboro.

Jonathan Tetreault, who works for Marc's Auto Service in Wareham, was assisting another driver along Interstate 495 North just after midnight when he was hit by a 2008 Honda Civic being driven by a Dorchester man.

Tetreault's brother said in a Facebook post that the tow truck driver had two successful surgeries on Monday and more will likely take place in the upcoming days.

An online fundraising page has been created to help support Tetreault and his children.

As of Tuesday morning, donors have raised more than $1,200.
