NightSide - Mandatory Minimum Sentences

BOSTON (CBS) - Civil Rights Attorney and Massachusetts Project Director for Families against Mandatory Minimums, Barbara J. Dougan is in studio to discuss what they believe should happen to mandatory minimum sentencing laws at the state and federal level. Mandatory minimum sentencing laws require binding prison terms of particular length for people convicted of certain federal or state crimes. Do you believe something should be changed about these laws? What should happen to the prisoners who have already been sentenced after a changed in the law?
