Firefighters Battle Large Barn Fire In Sutton

SUTTON (CBS) -- Firefighters from several communities battled a large barn fire in Sutton on Saturday.

The fire broke out around 2 p.m. at a barn near the center of town. The street name is currently unknown.

Fire officials say that area of town does not have public water so they made extensive use of tanker trucks from many surrounding fire departments to put the fire out.

It's unclear how long it took to put out the blaze.

Sutton firefighters received help from Millbury, Grafton, Oxford, Douglas, Northbridge, Uxbridge, Auburn, Upton, Leicester fire departments, as well as Sutton police and Medstar Ambulance.

No additional information was immediately available.
