Daily Talker: Fan Safety at Fenway Park

It's two strikes against the Red Sox when it comes to fan safety. For the second time in as many months a fan has been injured in the stands. Friday night, a woman sitting along the third base line was hit in the forehead with a foul ball. She needed three dozen stitches in her forehead. She says she was paying attention but had no time to react to the ball. Last month another Red Sox fan suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a broken bat on the third base side.

A few weeks after the first incident Major League Baseball said it was considering a number of changes like increased netting and additional regulations for bats. The league also said it wouldn't rush to judgement and would take its time to come up with the right solution.

Do you feel safe attending Red Sox games? Do you think the league needs to act quicker to find a way to protect fans?
