Celtics @ 7: Several Options For Celtics In Upcoming Draft
BOSTON (CBS) – As the NBA Draft approaches on June 25, Celtics @ 7 host Adam Kaufman played a little Armchair GM on 98.5 Saturday morning with the listeners and guest Kyle Draper from Comcast SportsNet New England.
The question: If you're president of basketball operations Danny Ainge, would you rather A) use your four draft picks and obtain more assets, B) trade the picks and potentially more in order to move up in the draft, perhaps the mid-lottery, or C) deal the picks, talent, trade exceptions, whatever is necessary, for a star.
Kaufman and Draper also looked at how the Celtics would like to continue their rebuild, and offered their thoughts on the NBA Finals, which appears to be the Warriors' series to lose.
