Owner Giving Away Gloucester Movie Theater Through Essay Contest

GLOUCESTER (CBS) -- If you've ever wanted to have your own movie theater, here's your chance.

The owner of the Cape Ann Community Cinema in Gloucester is giving it away, and even throwing in $20,000 to get the new management started.

The living-room style cinema opened in 2008. But due to health reasons, owner Rob Newton says he can't run it anymore.

Newton wants to make sure the new owners share his passion for film, so he's holding an essay contest.

In 250 words, participants must explain "Why I Want To Own And Operate A Small Seaside Cinema."

Essays are due by June 30, and a $99 entrance fee is required.
