NightSide - Rep. David Linsky Is In Studio With An Update To A New Law

BOSTON (CBS) - Earlier this month, a new law went into effect regarding headlight use. Now, drivers must turn their headlights on if their wipers are on, as well as between a half hour before sunset and a half hour after sunrise. Failing to do so can result in a five dollar charge, but can also result in surcharges on the driver's insurance policy, which means you could be paying for the mistake for years. State Representative David Linsky, one of the law's leading supporters, joins Dan in studio to talk about why he thinks the law is necessary and helpful.

Originally broadcast April 23rd, 2015.
