Report: Rob Gronkowski Playing Cop In Upcoming Movie

BOSTON (CBS) -- Rob Gronkowski can add "movie star" to his ever-burgeoning resume.

OK, well "star" may be a stretch, but the Patriots' All-Pro plays a role in the upcoming film "You Can't Have It."

TMZ reported on Friday that Gronk will play a cop in the film, which also has a role for Dan Gronkowski.

IMDB notes that the movie is in the filming stage and is set to be released on Oct. 1, 2015, smack dab in the middle of the Patriots' season.

Model/actress Joanna Krupa is also on the cast list.

Gronkowski -- along with teammates Tom Brady and Julian Edelman -- also snags some screen time in "Entourage," which will hit theaters in early June.

"It's a big move for Gronk who previously told us he's into the Hollywood scene -- and at the very least, he's flirting with the idea of becoming a movie star after his playing days are over," TMZ noted.

These days, it seems there's nothing that Gronkowski can't do.
