QUINCY (CBS) – Quincy police are looking for the public's help in their search for a mother who allegedly took her five children who were in state custody.
Yurong Wu, 41, is wanted for parental kidnapping and child endangerment.
The children believed to be with her are a 10-year-old boy and four girls, ages 8, 6, 2 and two months old.
Lt. Detective Patrick Glynn said the youngest child, two-month old Kalen Mei, is in "dire need" of medical treatment.
Quincy police are working with local authorities and New York City police in their search.
"There are family members in New York City," Glynn told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.
The father, Jackie Mei, 50, of Quincy, was arrested on Friday and charged with child endangerment and misleading an investigation.
