Julian Edelman, Malcolm Butler Present Best Rock Album At Grammy Awards

BOSTON (CBS) -- The party continues for Julian Edelman.

The man who lived out a real-life Ferris Bueller moment last Wednesday during the Patriots' Super Bowl victory parade was given the red carpet treatment on Sunday night, joined by teammate Malcolm Butler to present an award at the 57th Grammy Awards.

Edelman, whose beard had been trimmed down from its previous caveman state, told actor Josh Duhamel that he looked like a close enough facsimile of quarterback Tom Brady before the nominees for Best Rock Album were presented. When Duhamel went to open the envelope, Butler grabbed it out of his hands.

"Once again, another interception by Malcolm," Edelman said with a smile.

Butler then handed the award to the winner, Beck.

Brady was named MVP of Super Bowl XLIX, but both Edelman and Butler can say that the Patriots would not have emerged victorious without their input. Edelman caught nine passes for 109 yards and a touchdown, which turned out to be the game-winner. And Butler famously intercepted Russell Wilson at the goal line in the final minute to preserve the victory for New England.

The Edelman-Butler duo celebrated the following day as the honorees at a parade in Disneyland, partied at the parade on Wednesday and then spent Sunday night mingling with music royalty.

Not a bad week for a seventh-round draft pick and an undrafted free agent.
