Daily Talker: Olympic Dream Or Nightmare?

You've probably heard the news by now and it seems everyone has a strong opinion. The United States Olympic Committee has chosen Boston to bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics, beating out Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

More details will be released at a news conference this morning at 8:30. But it has already generated a heated debate in the city and the region.

Opponents have expressed concern about costs, security, and of course, traffic. Supporters however say it is a once-in-a-lifetime event that puts Boston on a global stage.
