Westwood Boy Among Finalists To Win Super Bowl Trip

WESTWOOD (CBS) - He's a little boy from Westwood with a Super Bowl dream, and he has a very good shot at going. That's because 7-year-old Zac Ventola is in the top three of the NFL's Play-60 Super Kid competition. And he's asking for your vote.

Zac knows the game. The second grader lives and breathes Patriots. His bedroom is a shrine of sorts with autographs and memorabilia, he's dressed in Patriot's jerseys since kindergarten, yesterday he brought home nine library books about football, and he is absolutely, positively sure the Pats are Super Bowl bound.

"I definitely think they're going. Did you see them play?" he says. Zac wants to go to the big game, too. "It would be amazing. I would love it," he says.

Zac is a finalist in an NFL sponsored contest to promote exercise and good nutrition for kids. "Then you can grow strong and be really, really healthy, and that's just kind of important," he says.

He's up against two other kids. The one with the most votes gets to go to the Super Bowl, hand the game ball to the ref, and his school gets a $10,000 grant. "It would be better than the best thing that ever happened in my life," dreams Zac.

The contest goes until Dec. 15th. To vote for Zac go to: http://superkid.nflrush.com/voting

You can vote every day.
