Daily Talker: State vs. Federal Ebola Policies

Leaders in New York and New Jersey made headlines Friday with strict new mandatory quarantine policies to fight the spread of Ebola.  They call for a 21-day quarantine for all health workers who had contact with Ebola patients in West Africa.  One health official said the policies are too strict and they would discourage health workers from fighting Ebola in Africa.  A nurse at a New Jersey hospital actually plans to file a lawsuit to be released because she has tested negative for Ebola and claims to her treatment has been "inhumane".  New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo last night eased some of the new restrictions but the topic still has a lot of people talking.  Should individual states be able to come up with their own guidelines to fight Ebola or should all states adhere to the federal guidelines?
