Daily Talker: Controversial Comments

A New Hampshire lawmaker is making headlines after a controversial comment.  In a blog post, Manchester Rep. Steve Vaillancourt called U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster "ugly as sin".  He followed that up by saying Kuster's opponent, state Rep. Marilinda Garcia, is "truly attractive".  He wrote that he saw a poll saying attractive candidates are more likely to win than unattractive ones.  Kuster's campaign has not commented while Garcia's campaign called the remarks sexist.  Vaillancourt has not said if he stands by his comments.  What do you think about Rep. Vaillancourt's comments?  Should he apologize?  Should looks be off limits when it comes to criticizing political candidates?
