WORCESTER, Mass. (CBS/AP) — Worcester police are investigating separate shootings that injured three men, including one who is in critical condition.

Authorities say a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday and was found behind an apartment building off View Street. Police say the victim was shot while waiting for a cab, and at least two suspects appeared to be waiting for him.

The victim's name hasn't been released. Police say he is a local gang member. The suspects remain at large.

Officials say two other men were shot at an apartment on Freedom Way at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, when they answered the door and three men opened fire. Their names haven't been disclosed.

Upon arrival, officers found multiple people at the scene including young children. In addition, police located bullet holes in walls around the inside of the apartment, as well as a trail of blood.

Police say the two victims' injuries aren't life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
