Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: With Charles Out, Jump On Knile Davis

BOSTON (CBS) - Every night during the NFL season on 98.5 The Sports Hub's The Adam Jones Show, Rich Keefe breaks down the fantasy world.

On the latest installment of the fantasy brief, Keefe discusses all the injuries that occurred in Week 2 and what they mean for your team going forward in terms of replacements.

Player: Redskins QB Robert Griffin III

Injury: Dislocated Ankle

Analysis: "He may be out for the season. I know people are excited about Kirk Cousins. He came out and played well against the Jaguars. He's a fine replacement. I think people are a little too excited though, because it's Jacksonville."

Player: Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles

Injury: High Ankle Sprain

Analysis: "He's week to week. So I don't know how much that helps. Backup Knile Davis came on and was tremendous. He may have been a handcuff, so he may already be owned in your league. If not, that's obviously a guy you want to jump on. High ankle sprain does not sound good for Jamaal Charles."

Player: Redskins WR DeSean Jackson

Injury: Mild AC Joint Sprain (Left Shoulder)

Analysis: "He should be able to play next week. They're saying he's day to day, if not, a guy like Andre Roberts will get some snaps there."

AJ-Green

Player: Bengals WR A. J. Green

Injury: Turf Toe

Analysis: "They first said turf toe but it looks like it could be a ligament in his foot. He could miss Week 3. Good news for Cincinnati and A.J. Green owners is the Bengals have a bye week in Week 4, so if he doesn't play in Week 3 he should definitely play in Week 5 when they play the Patriots. Keep an eye on A.J. Green's status this week. If not, Mohamed Sanu came on and was pretty good."

Injury: Hamstring

Analysis: "It sounds like he should play Monday night at home against the Bears."

New England Patriots v Miami Dolphins

Player: Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno

Injury: Elbow

Analysis: "It looks like he's going to miss about a month with what appeared to be a dislocated elbow. So that promotes Lamar Miller back into that starting role."

Player: Chargers RB Knowshon Moreno

Injury: MCL

Analysis: "He's going to be out about a month. They have Danny Woodhead there, but it looks like Donald Brown is going to get more of those traditional Mathews carries."

Player: Mark Ingram

Injury: Hand

Analysis:  "I've never been a huge fan of him, but he's having a good start to the season. He's also going to miss about a month. This should pave the way for Khiry Robinson to get an opportunity at that job."

Player: 49ers TE Vernon Davis

Injury: Ankle

Analysis: "I have not seen the results of his MRI, so I'm not sure how long he'll be out. Derek Carrier, of all people, was actually getting the ball thrown his way once Davis went out."
